Ray is also the President and CEO of JDog Empire/JDog Junk Removal & Hauling LLC, based in Schenectady, NY. JDog strives to support our local Veterans through Empowerment, Employment, and Entrepreneurship.
Ray is a retired Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sergeant with 25 years of distinguished
service and over 20 years in Marine Corps Training & Development. He started his Marine Corp career as an F/A-18 Hornet Jet Mechanic and Crew Chief and finished his career at the Marine Corps Recruiting Command National Training Chief responsible for training & development of Marines throughout the Nation. Ray has also worked on international business training & consulting projects with companies such as Achieve Global, Maritz Learning, DirectBuy, Lincoln Group of Schools, Lincoln Educational Services, General Electric: GE Power & GE Aviation, BESTPASS Inc., Shell Oil Company, Shell Global - London, MERCK Pharmaceuticals, Angio Dynamics, DeCrescente Distributing Company, The Disney Institute and many others throughout the United States and globally.
He is also a certified Master Trainer for the U.S. Dept. of Defense, U.S. Marine Corps, Franklin Covey, Achieve Global, 360 Solutions, and the SER National Training Team. Ray is a certified curriculum developer, training course administrator whose training programs and training techniques have been published, adopted and utilized with government agencies and private companies throughout the world.
His memberships and service include; JDog Franchisee Advisory Council, National Marine Corps Business Network, Unified Military Affairs Council, Veterans Business Council, Capital Region Chamber of Commerce, Guilderland Chamber of Commerce, Southern Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, Adirondack Chamber of Commerce, Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, 360 Solutions National Strategic Partner, Consulting Alliance, American Society for Training & Development, National Chief Learning Officer Association, and the Small Business Strategic Alliance (SBSA).
Ray and his wife Robin have been married for 32 years and they have two sons: RJ (Ray Jr.) who is 30 years old, a SUNY Albany Graduate who also holds a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School, serves as the Vice President of Marketing, Logistics Director, Director of Charities, and the General Counsel for JDog Junk Removal & Hauling. Their second son, Kyle who is 29 years old, also a SUNY Albany Graduate with degrees in Nanoscale Engineering, Mathematics, and Economics, currently serves as the Vice President of Finance, Director of Operations, and General Manager for JDog Junk Removal & Hauling. Robin is also active in the family business and currently serves as the Executive Vice President of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling. The entire family enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, swimming, skiing, snowmobiling, ATVing, board games, card games, family dinners, and of course music to include singing and song writing.
